It is mostly a semantic difference. The easy part is the software defined radio. In simple terms it is a radio where the demodulation capability and other receive parameters is done in software. In some cases the software is closer to firmware but none the less software. A software defined radio can be programmed to receive many modes, both analog and digital.
A digital radio could be almost anything in some circles, starting with an analog receiver with digital tuning. To be more realistic one could say it is a radio that receives one or more digital transmission modes. Most digital radios that meet that definition are also software defined radios so we get back to it being a matter of semantics.
