Hi, I'm trying to build an SDR radio using a Microchip dsPIC. At the moment, I've done a bit of the acquisition side of the design, but haven't had a great deal of success with the RF side (still learning!).
Does anyone have a recording, either in WAV or MP3 format, of a minute or so of an AM broadcast (preferably in English -- I usually use Virgin Radio on 1215kHz MW, or Radio 4 on 198kHz LW), recorded at the output of the 12kHz downconverter? That is to say, I'm after a recording of the intermediate frequency, after it's been converted from 455kHz to 12kHz and fed to the sound card. I figure if I have to redo the RF side, I may as well make sure my DSP software works! Sample rate 44kHz, 16-bit, mono (I or Q only) or stereo (I/Q) would be very useful Thanks, -- Phil. | (\_/) This is Bunny.
