Well, don't boost too much the amplitude. The original amplitude is what the Perseus hardware did send to the PC, and it is about at the same level of what the SDR-1000 hardware also record when so instructed. Boosting too much the amplitude is dangerous for the dynamic range. Your software should be capable to decode the file at the original level producing an audio output that fully drives amplified speakers. 73 Alberto I2PHD
