Check if you have Photoshop running. It's stealing your hotkeys if some of its panels are active...It drove me crazy!

Since I'm on Windows I press Alt-7 for the Texture Editor and Alt-9 for the ICE Tree. But randomly, XSI will decide it no longer wants to recognize that and will do nothing when those keys are pressed, until I restart XSI. Alt-7 and Alt-9 do nothing until I restart.
