Perhaps the best thing then would be simply user-created presets... One thing the makers of the unity game engine do which is quite clever is they make their site a repository of such things. It makes purchasing their engine compelling because you immediately get a sense of an active community and plenty of places from which to get started.
But i don't mean to presume to know what is best for fabric.
