>From my experience of working with Momentum/Implosia on a few jobs and watching some of the videos by MirVadim I would say, that RayFire is better and a lot more intuitive for complex shattering. The actual simulation speed and directability of the shattered pieces however is many times better in Momentum. For actual production I would be a lot more confident to make a simulation look the way it is supposed to with Momentum.
Shattering, dynamic UVs and mainly caching are all still a bite iffy with exocortex's solution, but the directability is unbeaten.
