I'm only a little surprised, but positively. This is a list that's always had some standards, and very, very low anonymous participants.
Anonymous recruiting is a farce, and hype baiting an insult to professional standards and the userbase of candidates you address. It means little whether it's done naively and innocently or maliciously, it is NOT how recruitment and disclosure work, and it should never become. I was glad to see some backlash. It is NOT what I'd like to see more of in here, in fact I hope we get no more updates. That it was unanimously shot down is a good thing in my book.
