I wasn't implying it's malicious, it's irrelevant whether it is or not. I
was just saying that a lot of people seem to take that stance where if it's
not malicious then it's ok and it becomes just whether you personally want
to ignore it or not.
I'm not aligned with that at all, and this is a personal consideration, and
I find anonymity and opaqueness in work, recruitment and intent always a
major negative regardless of whether it was well meant or not.

Work is work , however much we might or might not enjoy performing the
tasks, and when money is exchanged for goods and/or services hype and
bullshit shouldn't be tolerated for a single instant, the entire
category/community withers a little bit every time that happens on both
sides of a contract.

That's how I feel about it, again on a personal level, I was simply glad to
see others feel the same way, or at least act as if they do.
