There are two things here, both are related but directly connected.
You can use one without the other, if you wish to.
ReCap Pro is a standalone desktop application that allows you to work
with scan data, from whatever source -- photo or laser. If you have
scan data in a supported format, you can import it.
ReCap 360 is the cloud platform for viewing and sharing data published
from ReCap Pro. Within 360 there's also ReCap Photo which is
Autodesk's own photogrammetry service.

123d Catch is just a simplified consumer version of the same thing. ReCap
Photo is the pro version and offers greater flexibility.
Essentially it's all cloud based, so you get your pictures upload them to
our cloud, and then run ReCap photo, you can make tweaks and target points to
improve the accuracy. Meshes can be generated in formats such as FBX (of
course), OBJ, DXF, etc.
You can then take them into ReCap Pro, which is a standalone desktop
application for viewing scan data. You can then make various edits etc before
them exporting your data. ReCap pro can also import scan data from other
sources.

Image modeller is very precise, 123d catch and the rest may be fine but it
is not the very accurate modelling you are used with IM...
I really think are two different things altogether.
