I may have spoken to soon about a fix, as when the scene is captured, the
viewport solos and there is no way of having the null visible if the
viewport is set to show geo only.

I tried removing some of the optimisations from the solver in the modules
folder, so that it would always calculate blend parameters, but this hasn't
solved it. Makes me wonder if its more of a softimage aggressive
optimisation issue.

Any suggestions for forcing evaluation every frame appreciated!
