So, Bifrost is a kind of external plugin...ok...water effect was cool...but beside fluid sim what else could be done?
I would love to se a side by side comparison on the same task using ICE and Bifrost Another thing that I notice is that you don't have direct control on the sim particles as in ICE, but you kind of add a deformer based on another geometry ( wave shader )...so you're always referencing external geometry? weightmap are widely used, but this workflow looks very gimmicky 2014-03-18 8:40 GMT+01:00 Martin Contel <[email protected]>: > I wish I could be there, Jordi... :-/ > > -- > Martin Contel > Square Enix (Visual Works) > > > On Tue, Mar 18, 2014 at 3:30 AM, Jordi Bares <[email protected]> wrote: > >> For those of you in London this Thursday, just to let know now the London >> Houdini User Group are meeting >> >> 6.30 Jerusalem bar, on Rathbone place >> >> Feel free to come and drink with us, if you have questions bring them >> along, you will have some of the best Houdini minds there to fire left >> right and centre. >> >> cheers >> >> Jordi Bares >> [email protected] >> >> On 17 Mar 2014, at 17:18, Ognjen Vukovic <[email protected]> wrote: >> >> The webinar looks more like its stillborn then it EOL, a bit like maya >> and bitfrost. >> >> >> On Mon, Mar 17, 2014 at 6:03 PM, Alan Fregtman >> <[email protected]>wrote: >> >>> You guys didn't hear?
