instance shape from ICE to MAX?

I haven't looked into this yet...sorry to ask something that is probably
dead easy to do but I'm on three different gigs that have gone to shit and
don't have much time for experimentation....need the best route to do
this....can this even be done? I've sent point clouds to max but not geo
that is instanced into the cloud.
