You can only use versions that you have bought before, I didn't know of that restriction in the previous version feature. So there is no way for a new customer to legally use an old version ? Or a subscription user to use a 4 years old version ?
I don't know any single company that is using the latest version, not even the previous one. In games, 3 years old software is pretty much the standard, if not older. I was involved in a project using SI 2011 just a few months ago, and after that Maya 2012 in another. So, for a new freelancer / new company that does outsourcing, there is no other option than buying this year and keep paying subscription to hopefully be able to use it 3 years later. Nobody is asking support for old versions, and I don't know how difficult it may be to change your licenses system, but clearly your current system doesn't fit the market requirements. I understand that you want to sell only your latest product, but that's not how the industry works, that's not what we need. You have what we need, and we want to buy, but you don't want to sell it or let us use it. What a bizarre business isn't it.
