So am I, thank you mister Lind, oddly enough i did come by an obscure
thread from 2002 that mentioned the arcana of which you speak:

http://forums.cgsociety.org/archive/index.php/t-22485.html

i don't thing the full command was ever given.

i'm afraid i am already doing what you advised, i had hoped a faster method
existed, i'm (trying) to make hair, using sheets of nurbs and some nodes
from Melena, it looks good but the process of extracting every edge on
every poly strip in order to generate nurbs, is grueling.

one other method i was looking at was laying out the nurbs and the polygons
flat and cage deforming the nurbs with the polygons, its an interesting
method but can cause problems of predictability, if your strip is to small
you are screwed :P

Thank you Matt, and you too Eric, i guess i am spoiled with the both of you
as XSI List legends go :)
