I didn't have this issue, but as Nono said, boot into boot camp and install 
from there instead of in parrallels. You'll likely need to run Soft from boot 
camp sometimes anyway.( eg the stereo viewport shader seems to only work in 
full windows due I think to it using the real graphic drivers, not the virtual 
machines.)
