Hi Chris, No. Softimage runs “just fine” on Parallels and win7 (64bit). Please note that Windows will not have direct access to your graphic card, but will rely on Parallels graphic drivers. This may or may not be a problem for you. I’ve experienced a fair share of glitches and problems with the viewport interaction in Softimage, so if you plan on “actually working” in Softimage I’d recommend biting the bullet and run bootcamp.
