Matt, I use it as my main RxTx SDR application. I already have plenty of QSO's in my log with it. And of course I use it for my daily ragchew with my SDR friends here :-)
At first I used M0KGK's program, then I tried Rocky and all of them cannot even closely compare with what I have with PowerSDR... (IMHO) The "old" you mean probably the version 1.9.0 whereas today its in 1.10.4. Believe me, nothing extraordinary has been done. There is nothing that your Softrock yould notice anyway. I also use 1.10.3 for my 995x and it is no different at all. Use PowerSDR, this is my sinciere advice. 73 Christos SV1EIA PS PowerSDR is open source. --- In [email protected], Matt Patterson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Roftrock v6.2 RXTX 20/30 > > Jack Colson wrote: > > > > Hello Matt, > > Which version SoftRock are you working with? > > > > 73, > > Jack, W3TMZ > > > > ----- Original Message ----- > > *From:* Matt Patterson <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > *To:* [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> > > *Sent:* Saturday, May 10, 2008 10:06 PM > > *Subject:* [softrock40] Transmit with Softrock > > > > Hi, > > > > Are there instructions somewhere that show how to get Rocky setup to > > transmit with a single soundcard?
