A while back we were tossing out a couple of External SCSI drives at work. I snatched them up and they've been sitting on the shelf. As I near the completion of my RXTX 6.2 I'm thinking one of these would be a nice home for the radio. Make a face plate for the front with switches and run the coax out the back. Mount the board where the drive used to be. I'd use the power supply in the hard drive enclosure for the 12v. Might have to toss a resistor across the 5V to get the switching supply to have a load I'm not sure. Can anyone think of why this would not be a good set up?
