The CB550 has dual down tubes from the steering head.
I like the Quicksilver fairing just fine.  It should be a nice size for 
the 400.  Keeps the wind from blowing on your chest and trying to take 
off your Helmet. I find this fatiguing when speeds average over 40 MPH. 
 The drawbacks to the fairing are that it doesn't have locking storage. 
 And, that it has a rectangular headlight that has pretty high wattage; 
75/90 if I recall correctly.  While the brightness is nice to have, the 
electical load really taxes the charging system.  The battery will run 
down if there is a lot of stop and go traffic when the RPM average stays 
below 2500.  If you still have the stock turn signal flasher, they quit 
when the battery voltage drops.  I haven't looked up the specs.  But, I 
think the 400 charging system has even less output than the CB550.  I've 
not been able to locate a lower wattage headlight for it.  Something to 
think about, anyway.
