Guys, I'm getting tired of whanging the front wheel calipers with a plastic
hammer to loosen them up before I ride. Seems as if the bike sits for no
more than a couple weeks before they start binding again. I might get a few
more weeks relief by taking the active side off, scraping out the pad
recess and cleaning off the OD of the pad backing, but that's tiresome too.
We all know that isn't uncommon on earlier Honda calipers, the ones mounted
on the hinged hanger, and it must have been happening to otheres onlist
from time to time. So I'm looking for the cure, the ultimate cure. What can
we do to make these things stop hanging up?
