I had an interesting one too.  Unexpectedly and at any time the fuse would
fry. It turned out to be the headlight. The highbeam filament had "burned
out" Or rather it had broke off one end and wobling around, so whenever it
would touch the lowbeam post or filament both would be on,  Low resistance,
high current = blown fuse. Quick fix tho, I just disconnected the headlight
:>)
