Our ProVX died this weekend.. What a coincidence that it happen so soon after our support expires. I always thought SW had backdoors in to these things.
Anyway, the question is what to do? I figured it may be worth while to pay the ransom to SW and fix this unit, but decided not to wait on hold for 56 Min to speak to someone about it. Can anyone recommend SW alternatives? Replacements? Or someone that will repair this one?? Also, can I take the module out of a VX and put it in a regular PRO? Maybe the module is good, and I can save some money by picking up a used PRO.
