Carrhae took in Kitanya's behavior, even the attempt to conceal her
hands--just as Carrhae had done earlier.  "Then I regret refreshing
memories that disturb you.  We shall change the subject, or,..." she
hesitated.  How would this be received from a total stranger?  There was a
subtle shift in her deameanor.  "... If you wish to talk, I am willing to
