"Commander K'Tael, the station's Chief of Security, seems to think there
might be a connection with a number of the other crimes, and perhaps the
shuttle inident as well."

"It would seem that Spacedock has the crime statistics of an old-time
urbancity, Commander." Dais was concerned for his daughter. The crimes did
seem to be aimed at political or economic goals rather than random acts of
violence. "Has anyone considered the possibility of organized terrorism?"

At that time, the small group arrived at the quarters that would be shared
by Jafira and Jonar Dais. Audra opened the door and stepped in. The family
followed her in. "Before I answer your question, Commander, let me show you
your quarters. We can continue the conversation once this is done."

Dais nodded. In part, he was glad. He was not sure he wanted to talk about
this in front of Jafira.

Audra showed the family the four room quarters. There was a giant family
room that doubled as dining and entertaining room, two fairly sized
bedrooms, and bathroom. "Commander, why don't we let Jafira get settled in.
We can continue our conversation and the tour. I can have someone give
Jafira her own tour whenever she is ready."

"That would be fine, Commander," said Dais. He liked the quarters. He
could imagine it becoming home for Jafira and himself. Once he dropped off
his bags in his own room and bid Jafira goodbye, he joined Audra in in the
hall.

The two continued their tour of the station as Audra picked up where the
conversation left off. "We believe that the attack on the shuttle might be
a separate attack. One in which a sect of Venasian politics was involved.
I have an appointment to bring in a person for questioning that might
finalize this theory."

"It sounds like the you and the station's Security staff is working
diligently to conclude the staff. What about the other cases?"

"I think the other crimes are interconnected. Admiral Lasiter, the CinC, is
trying to promote changes in Starfleet that will make it run more smoothly
and be free of corruption. I think that the crimes are an attempt of a
group of people who are trying to discredit the Admiral and his staff, which
Dr. Brennen falls under."

"Hmmm...interesting. I have heard rumors about Lasiter's plans. I am not
completely surprised at the possibility that someone may be trying to block
the changes. Some people just have difficulty in dealing with change. I
will be interested in seeing some of Lasiter's plans."
