"Hmmm...interesting.� I have heard rumors about Lasiter's plans.� I am not
completely surprised at the possibility that someone may be trying to block
the changes.� Some people just have difficulty in dealing with change.� I
will be interested in seeing some of Lasiter's plans."
"I am sure that at some point he will talk to you about them. He is very
interested in the input of those who work under him. He is very
approachable, sir. I don't know what the press conference is about, but I
am sure that you will hear some of his thoughts about his plans."
Dais was impressed with LtCdr. Firehawk. She seemed very knowledgable about
what was going on on the station. He knew that he shouldn't be so impressed
since she was was the Operations Manager, but she seemed to be quite young.
He thought that he was going to enjoy working with her. "I look forward to
hearing about his plans," he responded.
Audra checked her chrono and realized that they had to get a move on if they
were going to make it to the conference on time. "Sir, speaking of which,
it looks like might be time to get to the conference."
Dais smiled. "Well, you are the guide, Commander. Lead the way," he said
as he extended a hand to indicate that he was ready whenever she was. He
knew how to get to the conference room after studying the layout of the
station for quite some time while preparing to come aboard, but he was
willing to let her take him there. He was enjoying the way she described
the station and its personnel.
