(ooc: is this something she is to react to? could you send me a copy of
the post?)

"I am certain he will be pleased to hear that. He chaffs at being away
from his patients and he would surely be glad to know of your condition."

She started for the door. Then, she turned back. "Samuel, in his stead,
I will remind you not to tax yourself unduly on your first day back."

She smiled, knowing that she was hardly in a position to speak considering
her own situation.

(response)

With a nod that was nearly low enough to be a bow, t'Llhweiir turned and
strode from the office. Even as the door closed, the sound of reporters'
shouted questions could be heard.

> With the end of the meeting, Lasiter stood to look out the window of his
> office. There he gazed for some time considering the possibilities of life.
> After considerable thought he let lose the wind.....

Eventually, t'Llhweiir made her way to her office, where security was
finally able to restrain the rabid reporters. She got an update from her
assistant, Y'Toi, then settled behind her desk. A check of her
chronometer confirmed that she had about 10 minutes before Lasiter's
"bomb" was set to arrive, so she used a secure channel to contact Brennan.

(ooc: anybody home?)
