Once inside..
"Commander Dias, Welcome to the Embassy. I am Ambassador Palen Tolok, and
this is my Chief of Staff Rivik Carlo. What can we do for you today?"

"I would like to take a moment to thank you both for meeting me at such
short notice. I am primarily here in relation to an incident that just
occured recently with one of your staff members who just came through
customs."

"Yes, we are aware that there was a courier detained. We had called Lt.
Thompson to help with the situation." The Chief of Staff acknowledged.

"Apparantly, his paperwork was questionanble and a search was started after
he admited verbally to having a personal weapon that is not allowed to be
brought through customs. He volunteered to turn over the weapon to my
custody under the condition that he could have it back on his departure from
the station. The search was stopped, but not before something was found
that was of concern. While I know that we are not allowed to press charges
since the search was illegal, I had hoped to have you assistance in dealing
with the matter, which I think you will agree is of great concern."

"We will be happy to help, Commander. What is this matter that you wish to
discuss."

"He had a detached human hand in his custody."

The Ambassador looked at his chief of staff. Then faced Dais for a reply.

"Really... You have the scans of this hand Commander?" the Ambassador
replies, as if he is not sure to believe him or not.

Dais shook his head. "I must admit that I do not. I did not deem it
appropriate to have one since the scan was made outside the rule of immunity
that is in place."

The Ambassador was happy to hear that. Very happy in fact. It gave him all
the wiggle room that he needed. However, this freedom to fanagle or the
emotion that it brought was not evident on his face or in his tone.

"That was a wise decision, Commnder." the Chief of Staff replied.

"What role do you want us to play here Commander? What can we do to help
bring this unfortunate and, I openly admit, disturbing situation to a proper
close?", Abmassador Palen asked.

"I was hoping that you would look into the situation, particularly since the
had is most likely connected to a violent crime, and deal with the situation
as justice would require."

(response)
