They had no evidence that Samuel was a free agent,
and without that
evidence, her options were limited.
Aloud, Carrhae
said, "Healer, could Admiral Lasiter, perhaps with
assistance, break
the bond?"
Sulin answered simply, "Unknown. The 'bond' as you call it is not all that familiar to me. However, there is one other thing you should know. This bond is holding the progress of Admiral Lasiter's illness at a stand still. Breaking the bond, even if it were possible, and I am not entirely sure that it it, could have serious consequences."
