Lasiter was not taking the back seat in the conversation with Dr. Lucas,
allowing the others to pose a few questions of their own.

  After an awkward silence Carrhae spoke up, "Dr. Lucas, what after effects
would there be if the bond were to be broken?  How does physical distance
effect the bond?  Does it diminish the effect?"
