Does it diminish the effect?"Lucas shrugged. "I don't know. It's hard to say, because we haven't really studied that yet. We do know that if a normal Bond is broken by the Bond-er - the 'natural' way - there aren't many physical effects. If it's broken because of death, there are safeguards in place to prevent mental trauma. But for a VHB? Hard to say. As for physical distance... no idea. We haven't even gotten into that aspect of the research yet."
