Lucas took a small blood sample and ran it through the instrument. After a few moments, it bleeped. Lucas looked up and nodded at Lasiter. Aloud, he said, "I'm sorry I can't be of any more help, Admiral, but I don't know anything about any network Dr. D'amondra may have been a part of."
While saying this, he opened his case and drew a small, uninteresting-looking grey box out and handed it to Lasiter. "A word of advice, Admiral, if I may be so bold. Don't try looking into the matter any further. If Dr. D'amondra doesn't want it to be found, you can be sure she took a lot of measures to make sure it won't be. Venasians are... a lot different than we are, from what I've seen. A lot sneakier, if you ask me..."
