>Admiral Kitanya,
> I have a debt to repay you, and I hope that this will do it. Special
Projects has a package for you. You may not share it's contents with
anyone other than myself and Commander M'Rrenn, at least not yet. Inside
the package you will find answers to some of your questions, you will find
what you are looking for.

>As she read it she could tell that this was was written by Lasiter
personally, not by an aide.

This was bizarre, but she'd come to understand and respect Lasiter and how he worked,
and this was par for him. She saved her budget work in a confidential file open only
to her and Aurelius and went out. "I'll be back in a little while," she said to
Naraht. "I have to pick up a package."

"I can get it for you, Admiral," offered the Horta.

"No, but thank you. I have to pick this one up in perrrson."

"All right," replied the Horta and went back to his work. He did not meddle in the
affairs of admirals, for they were subtle and quick to anger.

Kit headed down to Special Projects division, stopping at the security desk. "My name
is Vice Admirrral Kitanya, CinC SpecOps. I was told I have a package waiting forrr me
herrre."

"One moment, please." replied the being at the desk.

A moment later, came an officer with a fair sized box. The box was metal, an alloy of
some kind, and it was stamped with the Starfleet Command insignia. Very official
looking.

"Admiral Kitanya, I am Commander Roeder. Should you have any questions regarding
the contents of this package, I will be available to address them. Day or night. If
you will sign here, indicating that you did in fact recieve the package."

The PADD indicated that Admiral Lasiter was the 'sender', and that she was the
recipiant. The contents was listed as 'Materials for Review.'
