> "It is building like a tidal wave, Admiral. From all indications, you are
>Ketterings only opposition."

"Rrreally," she said, raising her eyebrows with surprise. "I would have thought
therrre would be at least one orrr two otherrrs."

"There were others, but they have either joined with him or have been crushed by
him. He is quite the charismatic leader, and his service record is just as
impressive."

"Well," she said, still looking surprised. "As I said, I am still only considerrring
it. I'd like to see what my suporrrt and my opposition would be beforrre I make my
final decision. But this news makes things clearrrerr."

"Then you have picked a good day to do just that." he said smiling. "Shall we go
in."

As they turned to enter the hall, another officer entered the doors just behind them.
It was Rear Admiral Tyrus Lasiter, and he looked perplexed by something. Not at the
two standing in front of him, but something else. It took nearly three seconds before
he recognized that the two others were Starfleet. He was definately running over
something in his head.

"Oh, excuse me. Vice Admiral Kitanya, Commander, please excuse my manners."

   {response}

"If you both will excuse me, I need to see Admiral Kettering." he said as he walked
past them.

"That was strange. He is one of the calm and collected ones." the Commander
commented.
