>> "I will set up something in the next few days. Something casual and low

>"Call me dirrrectly," she replied. She didn't want Aurelius or Naraht

>> "Very well then. It looks like it is time to take our places." the

>Kit nodded and went to sit on the side that was clearly against Kettering.
>The factions were sorting themselves out finally, which made life a little

>
As people took their seats, Kettering looked unphased. Tyrus Lasiter and Kettering's
Tellerite lapdog were now going at it in the back ground.

"We have come to a point where action is called for. We must act in the best interests
of Starfleet, and the current state of Starfleet Command leaves us with little choice.
We must take action to remove the dead wood, but first we must position ourselves to
fill the power void less other less effective elements do. I propose that we work
actively to remove Admiral Samuel Lasiter as Commander in Chief." Kettering announced.

The crowd was not a surprised as one would have thought. This move was, afterall,
expected.

"We will start by stock piling any and all supplies we can. This will allow us to
operate in the event that the CinC cuts our supplies. We must also make contact with
some of the other factions in Starfleet. With the help of a few of us {he indicated to
his cadre that sat with him} I have already begun that process. We have been building
bridges over the past few weeks. The goal has been to make alliances or at the very
least ensure that they will not stand in opposition of us. Our progress has been
promising so far. In the coming weeks we, as a group must..." Kettering was in his
complete glory, up until someone stood up and broke. Someone that almost never said
anything. Someone that almost always sided with Kettering and his way of thinking.

"The group must make sure that we are united behind a leader. The group as a whole
must be part of the plans and part of the reforms. You, Admiral Kettering, are taking
liberities with your so called leadership of this body." the officer in the top row
said with all the sternness he could muster.

"Sit down and be quiet, Captain." the Tellerite Admiral next to Lasiter yelled
angrily.

"You sit down and be quiet, swine.", the Captain answered not changing tone. "I have
been listening to Admiral Kettering rant about the condition of Starfleet and how
unqualified the CinC is for long enough. I will be heard, and I will be heard *now*."
he continued.

The crowd taken by surprise made enough noise for Kettering to yeild the floor, but
only because he was forced to.

"In the past several days I have heard of the plans that Admiral Lasiter has been
developing for the reshaping of Starfleet. I must admit that while I think they need
some work, those plans are more than reasonable. They cover many different needs, and
were formed with input from officers in the field. I understand that Admiral Lasiter
has even been talking with Admiral Jora and a few others about specific parts of his
plan to fine tune and hone his proposal. I think that we need to investigate this plan
before we go off and try to remove him from command. I also think that we need to
determine who our leader is. While you talk plenty, Admiral, you are not necessarily
our leader. There are others that are perfectly qualified. I understand that Vice
Admiral Kitanya is interested. I for one would love to hear more from her before we
decided to just follow your lead by default."
