> The room errupted into what would best described as a roar. For a
"secretive group" they made plenty of noice. Good thing for Kitanya that she had
feline hearing. She was able to isolate some of the noise just enough to
let her know that most of the crowd was picking apart her plan. Indicating
that buy in for her plan was pretty much already there, there was just a few
details that needed to be worked out. That is *if* they could talk and
work together.
Kettering was back in his seat, and he was not happy. Not happy and
showing it. His thunder was stolen, and he would try to regain it.
He sent one of his foot soldiers to bat... his Tellerite Rear Admiral.
"What about Lasiter, and his ineffective ways? What about the deadwood in
Starfleet Command? They are about as impotent as they come, and the CinC
leads the pack in limpness." the pig said loudly to regain the floor.
Kettering just laughed quietly. Tyrus was still a bit concerned. His
meeting with his brother was still on his mind....
She turned on the Tellarite, using her fiercest predatory look. If it
frightened humans, who were descended from apes, on a primeval level, it
should terrify a being descended from a prey species like pigs. "Arrre you
implying that *I* am an impotent piece of deadwood?" she snarled, this time,
allowing her tail to slash the air as she took a few slow steps toward the
Tellarite.
Taken aback, he answered, "No. Of course not. There are exceptions to every rule,
Admrial."
