Dais, not wanting to make a scene like the one that Sam had made earlier, relented. "If you feel it best to escort us to the market, then feel free to do so." While he was not happy about having shadows, there was little that could be done about it.

Sam was doubly annoyed. He did not appreciate the offer, and trusted them even less. There was definately something not right with the situation. However, he would not test Dais further.


When they reached the gate of the docking facility, R'saran turned her chiseled gaze on them - mostly Lasiter. "In the future, I would suggest taking some precaution against 'wandering' in this area. It would be unfortunate if you, as... 'civilians,' were mistaken for someone more threatening." Her voice wasn't cold, but rather very neutral and emotionless, as if she had no particular investment in this and she were simply repeating a preprogrammed answer. Her eyes, however, were far colder.
