The patrol had not yet drawn their weapons, which was a good sign. Bad
news, they were not looking happy.

"This is a restricted area. Identify yourself and state your business
here." one said by way of ordering.

"Thank the heavens you are here," she replied. "I am so lost! I am
visiting Pacifica and decided to take a walk along the boardwalk here, which
I have to say is quite beautiful. Anyway, I was just walking around
looking at the beautiful horizon and your lovely building when I realized
that I am completely lost. Do you think you kindly folk could help me out?"
She could only hope that the two guards would believe she was a tourist ...
at least as long as it took Dais and Lasiter to get a little closer.

Without pause a reply came, "You are in a restricted area. This area is
property of the Venasian Government. Please state your name, and where on
Pacifica you are from." The guard was very stern, somewhat condesending,
but not overly aggressive. Although, it could quickly go that way. He was
trying to determine where she was from so he could have her story checked
out. They had been warned about 'foriegners'.

"Oh, I am so sorry. I did not realize that it was a restricted area. Could
you just point me back in the direction of the Venaisian government
building? I had a meeting with one of your officials. My hotel is not far
away. If I could get back there, then I should be able to find my way back
to the hotel. You sure do have a lovely planet." Audra could only hope her
sniveling would hold up enough until the others got there or they let her
go.

She could sense that the guards were begining to lose their patience. If it
were not in the tone that they used, it was in the fact that they now had
their hands on their weapons.

"Please give the name of your hotel and your name so that we may verify
your reservation." he answered most annoyed this time.

Audra could see that Sam and Dais were much closer, but not quite within
range to be of help.

Just as it looked as if things were about to get really ugly, the calvary
appeared.

"Ms. Firehawk, where have you been? When you missed lunch we got worried.
What happened?", called Dais from about 15 meters away.
