This particular police action is based on the local government's need to control a violent rebel faction.� This rebel element has committed various acts of violence from bombings to arson to blanket intimidation to assults and riots.� When things got out of hand, Starfleet was called in to help keep the peace- control the streets with patrols, etc.� However, the mission has turned into a mini Vietnam.

K'Tael glanced toward Joe.  "I have a feeling that there is more to this than what is found in the report."

Just then, K'Tael's console beeped.  It seemed that Lorin Renaud had arrived for an update on the arrest.  K'Tael had his receptionist send him in.

"Admiral Renaud is here."

He walked in and closed the door, "Gentlemen sorry to interrupt your special work." He winked, "How'd the arrests go? Any problems?"

"It would seem that things have gone smoothly with the arrests.  All of those involved have been arrested and processed under a proper arrest warrent supplied by JAG."
