At the appointed hour, 1000 hours, the Chiefs of Staff of all divisions of Starfleet
began to gather. Much to the surprise of Commander M'Rrenn, the Chief of Staff of the
CinC, a few division commanders also arrived. Including his friend, Vice Admiral
Kitanya.
True to form refreshments were in the back of the room, pitchers of water were
scattered on the conference table. Name cards were placed so that people could find
their seats easily.
The oddest part of the meeting was that M'Rrenn was the lowest ranking officer there.
Some high ranking officers had other Admirals as their chief of staff, while others
had Captains. Commander M'Rrenn was the lowest ranking officer present, and, by his
position leading the CinC's staff, weilded the greatest influence. How strange.
