> The conversation now ended, Smallwood departed to get his act together.
> Alone with his Chief of Staff, Lasiter could relax.

"There is much to do, Sir," t'Llhweiir replied with a glance to the door where
Smallwood had just departed. She had intentionally stayed out of
line-of-vision during the confrontation between Lasiter and Smallwood. She did
not want her role as witness to his dressdown to cause Smallwood turn any
resentment on her. She could handle it, but with the circumstances as they
were, she did not have the luxury of the time and resources to spare.

"Yes there is. Tomorrow we have lots to go over with the presentation on the
investigations with Kitanya, plus we have much to go over since you are now my Chief
of Staff. Let's start tomorrow. I am sure that you need to get attend to with Intell
as well as get familiarized with things on staff. How about we meet for breakfast
tomorrow at 0700 in the Flag Lounge?"

   {response}

"Good. While you are taking care of things on your end, I think I will put in a call
to Commander Shevab. He impressed me."
