She also had funerals to arrange and contacts to make to the families of the 
deceased Fleet officers.  Their commanding officers would do the same; however, 
something should come from SF Headquarters under the circumstances.  But she 
did not mention this.  "0700 will be fine," she replied.  

> "Good.  While you are taking care of things on your end, I think I will put
> in a call to Commander Shevab.  He impressed me."

"Sir, would you also notify Commander M'Rrenn's staff of my temporary 
assignment?  It would be more appropriate coming from you."

"That it would...", He said suddenly missing his felinid friend.  "I will do that 
right away.", he managed recovering a bit.

"Also, I would like to make a brief visit to Spacedock to check on Matthew's 
condition."

"Stay the night if you need to."

When they parted company, Lasiter sat back down in the chair he occupied only moments 
ago.  He sat in silence contemplating the road that he would be traveling ahead.  It 
promised nothing but great difficulty.

After a moment's reflection, Lasiter made his call to Spacedock to talk to his senior 
staff, including those that supported M'Rrenn directly.  He notified them of the 
temporary assignment of Admiral t'Llhweiir as Chief of Staff.  She would help him get 
through the hard part, then help him find a permenant replacement.
