> Bedru walked through the entrance to Lasiter's office. "Good afternoon,

"Thank you, Sir," Bedru replied, "The team work well together to resolve the
matter." She did not mention her concerns about Watson and his decision not to
tell her about his wife in the beginning. It was in her report, and she saw no
reason to mention it at this point.

She did, however, discuss her impressions of the "real" Ramesar. "Sir, a great
deal will depend on how they handle the resettlement of their planet. They
have a rough road ahead, but I believe they have proven that they are capable
of making it through successfully. I recommend that, in addition to the
observers already in place, the Federation supply any reasonable assistance the
Ramesar request.

"I expect them to send a diplomatic team here and to eventually request full
membership to the Federation. They have the potential to be an excellent
addition. Their planet could also serve as a jump off point for further
exploration, which would be mutually beneficial."
