"You can do so or not, Ms. Moiraine, but you know as well as I do that I have no reason to lie to you about this. Security cameras in the Brig will have recorded the conversation to which I am referring. There is no need to even bring in the testimony of the guard with that. This is an open and shut case of conspiracy on top of the charges that landed him in the Brig in the first place."
Ione studied the face of the man sitting across from her. She knew that he had no reason to lie about this. "I assume you have brought my client and I in so that you can inform him of the charges being added?"
K'Tael responded with a simple nod. "That, and I have hopes that Mr. Jorgenson would be willing to talk to us. Looking at his prior record and the specifics of his charges, I have little doubt that he was the mastermind of any of the crimes he has been involved in recently. While I must admit that I despise his beliefs and his actions, I really want to get to the people who run his organization. He might be able to help us with that ... and I might be willing to help him in return." K'Tael had thrown the offer down on the table. It was up to the lawyer and her client to decide.
