"Why didn't you inform Security about the situation?  Not doing so makes you
an accomplice."

"I did not say anything because I agreed with the message.  It is not the
means I would choose to get it across, but we needed to be heard.  No one
was listening to us when we used traditional means.  The Brotherhood is just
looking after the Federation, looking after the security of Earth.  If that
means some people have to be hurt in the process, it is worth it to
safeguard billions."

Deep down, K'Tael respected Jorgenson for his convictions.  It was clear
that the man believed in what he was saying, and he was willing to die for
his principles.  Unfortunately, it was those principles that had cause some
of his friends to either die or face injury.  "I am sure the political
instibility of having the chain of command of Starfleet disrupted at the top
would have done nothing to endanger innocent Federation citizens."  His
voice was full of contempt and sarcasm.

"Again, Commander, I would have regretted the loss of life that would have occurred, but it would have been worth it to secure the safety and survival of the rest of their fellow Federation citizens.  They would have been martyrs."

K'Tael only sneered at first.  "Do you know how your fellow Brotherhood
members infiltrated the Admiral's security detail?"

Jorgenson shook his head.  "I told you before that I was not directly involved in the plans.  I knew none of the details.  I was not even sure that what I had heard was true."
