Looking at his prior record and the specifics of his charges, I have little doubt that he was the mastermind of any of the crimes he has been involved in recently. While I must admit that I despise his beliefs and his actions, I really want to get to the people who run his organization. He might be able to help us with that ... and I might be willing to help him in return." K'Tael had thrown the offer down on the table. It was up to the lawyer and her client to decide.
Ione was surprised at the Commanders forthrightness. While she was pleased with it, it also put her on edge. She was not used to such interactions with Security and had to wonder if there was another motive in such an offer. "It will take that under consideration as I advices my client, Commander, but you must remember that I all I can do is advise."
