A few minutes later a guard arrived with Jorgenson in tow.  The prisoner was
in wrist brackets and was brought to a seat at the table next to Ione
Moiraine.  He nodded to her as he sat down.

"Mr. Jorgenson, we have brought you up here to inform you that the
Federation is filing further charges against you.  We are charging you with
conspiracy to assassinate an official of the Federation, conspiracy to
destroy this station, and conspiracy to endanger the lives of numerous
civilians, foreign representatives, and Starfleet personnel both in San
Francisco and aboard this station."

Jorgenson blanched even more, which was something that Ione would not have
thought possible.  This was going far enough.    She stood up and leaned on
her arms.  "Commander, while you are required to inform my client of the new
charges and you can offer him leniency, you cannot threaten him like this."

K'Tael could feel the anger boiling up in him.  Jorgenson could have saved
lives if he had just spoken up.  Instead, he had stayed quiet and people he
knew were dead and injured.  "M'renn, Audra, Admiral Garibaldi, so many
faces flashed before his eyes.  He wanted to kill Jorgenson and rip him limb
from limb.  The people at the funeral were their to mourn their loss, and
Jorgenson and his friends had arranged it to be a blood bath.  They had also
arranged for an attack on the station while most of the bigwigs were down on
Earth at the funeral.  The one two punch was a cowardly act, and he wanted
to make Jorgenson suffer for it.  To suffer like he had made all of the
Brotherhood's victims suffer.

The problem was he couldn't.  His job was to catch these people, and it was
up to the justice system to make sure that they received adequate
punishment.  "My apologies, Mr Jorgenson, Ms. Moiraine.  My feelings got the
better of me."  K'Tael took a deep breath before continuing.

"Mr Jorgenson.  You will go to prison for conspiracy.  We have more than
enough evidence to convict you on it.  I would be willing to speak on your
behalf if you work with us to also find and bring in the people who planned
this."  The offer hung in the air as silence filled the room.

"What do you have in mind?" saked Jorgenson.

"If you provide us with names and testify for ourside, I would be willing to
say that you are nothing more than an accomplice.  You knew what was going
on but you were not directly related to the activities."  K'Tael did not
like what was coming out of his mouth, but it was probably for the best.

"Commander, before my client answers, I would like to speak with him alone for a moment," interejected Ione.

(K'Tael?)
