Ione studied the face of the man sitting across from her. She knew that he
had no reason to lie about this. "I assume you have brought my client and I in so that you can inform him of the charges being added?" K'Tael responded with a simple nod. "That, and I have hopes that Mr. Jorgenson would be willing to talk to us. Looking at his prior record and the specifics of his charges, I have little doubt that he was the mastermind of any of the crimes he has been involved in recently. While I must admit that I despise his beliefs and his actions, I really want to get to the people who run his organization. He might be able to help us with that ... and I might be willing to help him in return." K'Tael had thrown the offer down on the table. It was up to the lawyer and her client to decide. Ione was surprised at the Commanders forthrightness. While she was pleased with it, it also put her on edge. She was not used to such interactions with Security and had to wonder if there was another motive in such an offer. "It will take that under consideration as I advices my client, Commander, but you must remember that I all I can do is advise." "That is all I can ask of you, Ms. Moiraine. If there is nothing else, I will call to have your client brought up so we can speak with him." "Please go aheard," she replied as she sat back in her chair. A few minutes later a guard arrived with Jorgenson in tow. The prisoner was in wrist brackets and was brought to a seat at the table next to Ione Moiraine. He nodded to her as he sat down. (K'Tael?)
