Ione nodded. A moment later the guard stepped in and escorted the prisoner out of the conference room. She looked up at the Klingon Security Chief. "What can I do for you, Commander?"
"Your client is going to need to provide us with more information if you or he expects us to get the JAG office to offer a plea bargain." He stated the fact simply. It was going to be up to her to find a way to help her client.
Ione nodded in response. "I think you will find that Mr. Jorgenson was more responsive to your questions than I would have expected, Commander. I am not saying that he is not in serious trouble. I am not even saying that I support what he stands for. What I am saying is that I only have so much influence with him. Considering your recent history with informants, I cannot say that my client is going to be overly willing to speak. Out of the past four informants you have put in protective custody, only one still lives. That does not incline me to recommend to my client that he talk."
"I will admit that we did lose some of our informants, and that they were related to Brotherhood investigations, but I think you will find that we have found a way to rectify that problem. Our last informent is alive and well at the location that we found for him. I believe we could do the same for Jorgenson if he is willing to testify."
