K'Tael was surprised by Jorgenson momentary showing of gusto. It was clear that the man believed in what the Brotherhood stood for. "So, it was clear to you that the intention of the attack was to kill Admiral Laister?"
Jorgenson simply nodded in response.
"Why didn't you inform Security about the situation? Not doing so makes you an accomplice."
"I did not say anything because I agreed with the message. It is not the means I would choose to get it across, but we needed to be heard. No one was listening to us when we used traditional means. The Brotherhood is just looking after the Federation, looking after the security of Earth. If that means some people have to be hurt in the process, it is worth it to safeguard billions."
Deep down, K'Tael respected Jorgenson for his convictions. It was clear that the man believed in what he was saying, and he was willing to die for his principles. Unfortunately, it was those principles that had cause some of his friends to either die or face injury. "I am sure the political instibility of having the chain of command of Starfleet disrupted at the top would have done nothing to endanger innocent Federation citizens." His voice was full of contempt and sarcasm.

K'Tael only sneered at first. "Do you know how your fellow Brotherhood members infiltrated the Admiral's security detail?"
