>"You may very well be right. That is often the case with such a situation."Joanna
>>got up while she spoke and walked over to the replicator."Would you like something
>>to drink while we speak?"

"Old Earth Coca-Cola Classic please." He had inherited his Uncle's tastes.

>Joanna placed the order, which included a tea for herself and returned to her seat.
>>"How did you come to be captured and imprisoned?"

"Thank you." he said as he took the glass and sipped off it...,"Like I said I was
caught in a firefight and next thing I know we're surrounded. I tried to run and got
hit."

>"Why do you think this group was attacking Starfleet officers?"

"Honestly I don't know....It has something to do with a higher-up Admiral (ooc: can't
remember his name) who seems to be doing this to manipulate numbers in order to
increase his military mass."

>"Would you like to talk about your experiences while being imprisoned?" It was
>>obvious that they had already started that. Joanna was asking if David was ready to
>>talk about it in more detail. She would definitely understand if he wasn't. She
>wasn't >intending on pressuring him.

The shudder returned almost immediately, "What can I say? They beat the hell out of
me." He almost instinctively put his hand across the spot on his ribs where they had
been cracked or broken, "There were screams almost all the time. People left their
cells and didn't return..."

Joanna had to resist the urge to shake her shoulders. "David, that may have been all
that they did, but it had more of an effect on you. They hurt you emotionally, as
well."

(David?)
